The persistent problem of un-recycled composite PVCs, often destined for landfills or low-value energy recovery, has drawn new capital. POLYLOOP, a company developing high-performance, environmentally respectful equipment to regenerate these materials, announced it has raised $1.6M in Seed funding.
Current recycling processes struggle with the volume of raw material needed and the poor quality of output due to inconsistent inputs. POLYLOOP's technology aims to solve these inefficiencies, offering a more sustainable path for a material largely considered unrecyclable today.
