Pee Safe, a company focused on personal hygiene products, has raised $6.5 million in its latest funding round. The company, known for its "House of Brands" approach, initially gained prominence with its Toilet Seat Sanitizer Spray, a product developed to address the risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs) and other infections for women using public washrooms. Co-founded by Srijana Bagaria and Vikas Bagaria, Pee Safe has expanded its offerings beyond its flagship product to a broader range of personal, sexual, and menstrual hygiene essentials.
The initial Toilet Seat Sanitizer Spray, introduced in 2013, has been instrumental in establishing Pee Safe's presence in the market, reducing infection risks by 99.9%. Over time, the company has identified and addressed other critical hygiene needs, positioning itself as an expert in often-hushed societal topics. Pee Safe currently has a significant retail footprint, present in over 5,000 retail touch points across 90 cities and exporting to nearly 10 countries.
This capital infusion is expected to fuel Pee Safe's strategic growth initiatives. The company plans to utilize the funds to further expand its product portfolio, enhance its market penetration both domestically and internationally, and strengthen its operational capabilities. The investment underscores confidence in Pee Safe's mission to provide accessible and effective hygiene solutions.
Looking ahead, Pee Safe aims to continue its trajectory of growth, reinforcing its position as a leading provider of personal hygiene products. The company is focused on innovating new solutions and expanding its reach to a wider audience, contributing to improved public health and personal well-being.
