An AI middleware company focused on bringing more realistic behaviors to video game Non-player characters (NPCs) has secured new capital. Paralog, which leverages machine learning to ease the creation of these complex NPC interactions, announced it has raised $36K.
The startup's technology aims to streamline a traditionally labor-intensive aspect of game development. By automating and simplifying the process of designing character actions and responses, Paralog offers studios tools to build more dynamic and engaging virtual worlds without extensive manual coding for each character's individual actions.
