In a major milestone for the regional entrepreneurial landscape, Open Startup (OST) has successfully raised $20,000 through its innovative Open Startup OST Program. As an NGO that provides a regional platform for innovation and capacity building through entrepreneurship, education, and cross-cultural exchange, OST is committed to building communities and bridging ecosystems across the MEA region. This funding achievement is a testament to the robust support from both local and international stakeholders who believe in OST’s vision of fostering sustainable economic growth and transformative change. The program was co-designed with Columbia Engineering and the Business Schools of New York, ensuring that cutting-edge academic expertise shapes its initiatives. Strategic partnerships further include The US Embassy in Tunis, Columbia Global Centers in Tunis and Amman, and key organizations such as Africinvest, Drosos Foundation, Flat6labs Tunisia, Innov’i 4 Innovation, The European Union, Expertise France, and the DOT, reinforcing a powerful consortium dedicated to driving innovation.
The recently raised funds will be strategically allocated to bolster OST’s capacity-building efforts, enhance its mentorship and training programs, and expand its network of regional and international collaborators. By investing in these critical areas, OST aims to empower aspiring entrepreneurs, fuel the growth of local startups, and unlock new opportunities for cross-border collaboration.
