NuRAN Wireless has pulled in $7.6M in a Series A round, a cash infusion aimed at expanding its push into rural mobile connectivity. The company, listed on the CSE as $NUR and OTC as $NRRWF, builds affordable 2G, 3G, and 4G network infrastructure for remote regions where traditional carriers don't bother to go.
That's a market with real scale: more than a billion people still lack reliable long-distance communication, and NuRAN's pitch is that its scalable gear makes serving them economically viable. The round gives it fresh runway to keep chipping away at that gap, though the company didn't specify exactly where the capital will land first.
