The dating app Noonswoon, which has since been acquired by Love Group Global (ASX: LVE), has raised $400K in a seed funding round. Known as the leading dating app in Asia, Noonswoon built its user base by introducing singles to one quality match every day at noon, typically someone they already share mutual friends with.
Users are given a 24-hour window to decide whether or not they like their match. If both parties express interest, they are connected and can chat directly through the app, maintaining privacy by not needing to reveal personal contact information.
