Singapore-based Neural Drive, a startup making brain-computer interface technology accessible to millions with disabilities, has secured $250K in seed funding. The company, founded by four engineers, has developed a non-invasive system that translates "silent speech" - thoughts - into real-world commands for just $500, significantly undercutting competitors' $24,000 solutions.
Inspired by a founder's friend with cerebral palsy, Neural Drive has already deployed a working prototype to 14 early access users, including stroke and ALS patients, enabling them to independently control wheelchairs, smart homes, and communication devices.
