We are thrilled to announce that NECHAMA, a dedicated nonprofit committed to natural disaster preparedness, response, and recovery, has successfully raised $165,000 to further expand our critical services nationwide. As a voluntary organization rooted in the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam鈥攔epairing the world through acts of goodness鈥擭ECHAMA has long been at the forefront of mobilizing volunteers and providing essential support to communities struck by floods, tornadoes, and other natural disasters. With this new funding, our mission to bring comfort and practical assistance to disaster survivors will be significantly enhanced. We will be using these funds to strengthen our disaster response infrastructure, providing additional training and resources to our network of thousands of committed volunteers. This will ensure that when crises hit, our teams are even better prepared to offer temporary assistance and bring much-needed relief to affected communities.
Based out of the Twin Cities of Minnesota, NECHAMA extends its compassionate outreach nationwide, offering help strictly based on need, without discrimination, regardless of religious affiliation.
