Ngarliyarndu Bindirri Aboriginal Corporation (NBAC) is thrilled to announce that it has successfully raised $1,100,000 in funding, an achievement that marks a significant milestone in our ongoing mission to uplift and empower the local Aboriginal community in Roebourne. As Roebourne's oldest Aboriginal Corporation, with 50 years of dedicated service, NBAC has always prioritized the well-being and development of our people. This funding will play a crucial role in enhancing our three core, service-based businesses: Brida, Yirramagardu Crew (Y Crew), and the Red Dirt Driving Academy. These enterprises are designed to create sustainable employment opportunities and empower individuals within our community, fostering a sense of pride and self-reliance. With almost 200 staff members employed across various programs, NBAC is 100% owned by the people of Roebourne, and we are deeply committed to ensuring that the benefits of our initiatives directly serve our community's needs. The funds will enable us to expand our services, innovate our training programs, and better serve the aspirations of our members. We express our heartfelt gratitude to all our supporters and partners who believe in our vision and mission. Together, we are paving the way for a brighter, more prosperous future for the Ngarluma people and our wider community. As we celebrate our 50-year journey, we remain steadfast in our commitment to uphold the values of our culture and community, continually striving for growth and positive change.
