Portugal's burgeoning space sector just received a significant lift, as N3O, the nation's first small satellite manufacturer, announced it has raised $19.7M in new capital. Operating as NewSpace Earth Observation Orbital Objects, the company is building sustainable satellite manufacturing and integration capabilities focused on Earth Observation (EO) systems.
This funding will reinforce N3O's role as the Portuguese Integrator for small satellites, a strategic move to anchor the national space industry within the European market. The venture is a partnership between CEiiA, GEOSAT, and an experienced European strategic partner in satellite development.
