Logistikbude has secured $5.0 million in funding to advance its digital load carrier management platform. The investment will support the company's mission to streamline the complex and often inefficient processes associated with managing the billions of pallets, containers, and crates that are essential to global supply chains.
The Dortmund-based Fraunhofer spin-off provides a leading software solution that addresses the significant challenges of load carrier management. Globally, over ten billion such carriers form the backbone of logistics, yet their oversight remains manual, error-prone, and expensive. Logistikbude's cloud-based platform leverages existing data, connects business partners, and automates bookings, reconciliations, and exchange processes. This automation allows companies to achieve substantial savings, including up to 90% in personnel effort and up to 36% in repurchase costs, while ensuring full real-time transparency.
The newly raised capital will be strategically deployed to accelerate Logistikbude's growth initiatives, enhance its proprietary cloud-based platform, and expand its market reach. The company aims to further establish its solution as the industry standard for reusable logistics, building on its current success with clients such as Nagel-Group, DACHSER, DB Schenker, and RWE.
This funding round underscores the growing demand for innovative solutions in logistics technology. Logistikbude is well-positioned to drive the vision of a fully digital control system for all worldwide load carrier movements, fostering greater efficiency and sustainability across global supply chains. The company anticipates continued expansion as it scales its operations and platform capabilities.
