Keiron Printing Technologies, a leader in Surface Mount Technology (SMT), has announced it has secured $2,300,000 in new funding. This capital infusion will support the company's ongoing mission to advance its innovative manufacturing solutions.
The Eindhoven-based company is transforming the SMT industry through its Laser Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT) technology. This proprietary approach delivers a fully digital, contactless printing solution that bypasses the limitations inherent in traditional stencil and jet printing methods. Keiron’s technology aims to set new standards for electronics manufacturing by integrating precision, efficiency, and flexibility into production processes. Founded in 2019 as a spin-off from TNO Holst Centre, Keiron benefits from strategic partnerships with industry leaders including ASML, TNO, Holst Centre, and VDL TPB Electronics.
The $2,300,000 in raised capital is earmarked to accelerate Keiron’s strategic growth initiatives. These plans include further development of its LIFT technology, scaling its operational capabilities, and expanding its presence in the global electronics manufacturing market. This funding round underscores the perceived potential of Keiron's technology to significantly impact how electronic components are assembled.
Keiron's vision centers on enabling autonomous, self-sustaining manufacturing environments that minimize human intervention while maximizing quality and productivity. As demand for smarter, more adaptable manufacturing processes continues to grow, this investment positions Keiron Printing Technologies to further lead the charge toward a more efficient and advanced future for the SMT industry.
