The company specializes in the design, engineering, and provision of services that integrate Earth Observation data with additional datasets, serving a diverse clientele that includes public administration, utilities, private companies, and research and development centers across various sectors such as agriculture, climate, and cultural heritage. This fresh capital will be pivotal in expanding their capabilities in areas like satellite-based emergency mapping and advanced web applications, enhancing their operational geospatial application services. The funding will also bolster their collaborations within the aerospace sector, linking academic research from Politecnico di Torino to real-world applications that meet urgent needs, like natural disaster response and environmental monitoring. With a team of 25 skilled experts in remote sensing, GIS, and spatial data analysis, Ithaca stands poised to make substantial contributions to both the scientific community and society at large, demonstrating the transformative potential of Earth Observation technologies in addressing critical global challenges.
