Child Cancer Foundation is pleased to announce that we have raised $233,317 in our latest funding campaignāa vital boost in our ongoing mission to support Kiwi kids with cancer and their whÄnau. Every week in Aotearoa, three families are confronted with the heartbreaking news that their child has been diagnosed with cancer. For over 40 years, our foundation has been providing compassionate, one-to-one support through our dedicated Family Support Coordinators, ensuring that each newly diagnosed family receives the personalized care they need during one of the most challenging times in their lives. This new injection of funds will help bridge critical gaps in support services, from immediate emotional counseling and logistical assistance to longer-term strategies that empower families to maintain control over their lives despite the storm of a cancer diagnosis.
Raising $7 million each year is essential to upholding our mission, and every donation makes a significant impact for a family in need. As a non-government-funded organization, we rely solely on the generosity of Kiwis to help lift families out of crisis and build a network of hope and strength. The $233,317 raised in this campaign will directly enhance our ability to connect families with the necessary resources and support systems they require from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
