Harbison, a cherished community-owned not-for-profit aged care provider, is thrilled to announce that it has successfully raised $27,500,000 in funding to enhance its services and infrastructure. With two locations nestled on the traditional lands of the Gundungarra people in Moss Vale and Burradoo (Bowral), Harbison has been a beacon of support for older individuals in the Southern Highlands of NSW since its establishment in 1956. Founded by a dedicated group of volunteers who recognized a pressing need for quality aged care services, Harbison has evolved into a leading provider, offering a comprehensive range of care accommodations including specialized dementia care, respite care, and palliative care, tailored to meet the diverse needs of the elderly community. The latest funding round will be instrumental in advancing our mission to provide safe, quality care by allowing Harbison to expand its facilities, upgrade technology, and enhance its lifestyle services. With a dedicated team of over 350 staff members, we are committed to ensuring every resident feels valued and supported in a nurturing environment. This funding not only highlights investor confidence in our mission but also equips us to serve our community better, enabling us to make an even greater impact over the next sixty years and beyond. We take immense pride in the love and care we provide to the generations who have called Southern Highlands home, and with this support, we are more prepared than ever to offer the best possible experience for our residents as they age gracefully in a place they cherish.
