We are thrilled to announce that Glass Half Full has successfully raised $6,500,000 in our latest funding round, a testament to the power of communal effort and the importance of sustainable innovation. Founded by a dedicated group of five aspiring entrepreneurs, Glass Half Full is on a mission to transform the landscape of waste management while simultaneously addressing pressing social issues surrounding water and sanitation. Our unique approach involves upcycling discarded wood sourced from Urban Repurpose, a non-profit organization located in North Vancouver. By deconstructing furniture that would otherwise end up in landfills, we create beautiful, eco-friendly coasters adorned with our beloved water droplet mascot, Faroos, along with informative facts that highlight the global challenges related to water accessibility and sanitation. The funds raised will be instrumental in scaling our production capabilities, developing educational campaigns, and expanding our outreach efforts to foster greater awareness around these critical issues. Each coaster not only serves as a functional art piece but also acts as a conversation starter aimed at inspiring change and encouraging responsible consumption within our communities. We are incredibly grateful for the support from our investors who believe in our vision and are excited to join us on this journey. Together, we can turn waste into a sustainable product while promoting essential conversations about the world we share. Stay tuned as we embark on this transformative path towards a cleaner future, one coaster at a time!
