GINT, a company specializing in smart agriculture and smart mobility platforms, has secured $9.8 million in new funding from investors. This capital injection will support the company's ongoing efforts to innovate agricultural practices through advanced technology.
Established by experts in mobility and information and communication technology (ICT), GINT aims to transform daily life in agriculture, particularly in response to the rapid aging of rural populations and persistent labor shortages. The company develops comprehensive solutions leveraging electronic control, autonomous driving, and data-driven service platform operation technologies. Its product suite includes PLUVA auto for cloud-based autonomous farming machinery, PLUVA robotics for next-generation agricultural robotics, PLUVA market for premium used tractors, and PLUVA link for satellite-based AI precision agriculture. GINT effectively transfers verified electronics and robotics technology from the mobility sector, ensuring high precision and reliability in its agricultural applications.
The newly raised funds are intended to accelerate GINT's strategic growth initiatives, including further research and development into its core technologies and a more robust expansion into new international markets. GINT has already established a strong market presence in South Korea, achieving leadership in agricultural autonomous driving kits with over 1,300 units sold and a network of 33 regional partners. Building on this domestic success, the company is actively expanding its footprint into emerging agricultural mechanization markets across Asia, including Japan, Indonesia, and Taiwan, collaborating with local governments and manufacturers to set new standards for agricultural technology in the region.
This investment underscores confidence in GINT's proven technological capabilities and its ambitious vision to address fundamental challenges in the agricultural industry globally. The company plans to continue its global scale-up, fostering sustained growth and innovation to fundamentally change the lives of farmers worldwide and shape the future of the agricultural industry.
