FuturePlus, a leading firm specializing in closed-end collective investment management, has successfully raised €2.7 million to further its mission of supporting innovative technology-driven projects. Founded in 2010, FuturePlus operates under the supervision of the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) and has built a reputation for its commitment to investing in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the pivotal stages of early, late, and growth venture capital. With a seasoned management team boasting over 30 years of expertise in venture capital and M&A, FuturePlus has already made significant strides, committing over €65 million in investments through its Ámbar Venture Capital fund.
The newly acquired funds will bolster FuturePlus's capacity to advise and invest in tech-based ventures, ensuring a robust pipeline of research and development projects. By leveraging its solid industrial and technological expertise, along with a well-established network in both public and private sectors, FuturePlus aims to drive the growth and internationalization of promising companies. Notably, since 2015, in collaboration with the Junta de Extremadura and Extremadura Avante Inversiones, FuturePlus has championed regional initiatives through the Inversiones Avanticex vehicle, igniting the entrepreneurial spirit within Extremadura's technology sector. This latest funding round not only underscores investor confidence in FuturePlus but also highlights its pivotal role in propelling technological advancement and economic development.
