We are thrilled to announce that TRaCE (Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy) has successfully raised $2,000,000 to further our mission of transforming groundbreaking technologies from laboratories into the global market. Delivered by UNSW Sydney and the University of Newcastle, TRaCE is dedicated to revolutionizing the circular economy and clean energy sectors by bridging the gap between research and real-world applications. This vital funding will enable us to expand our access to cutting-edge research projects in areas such as solar technology, sustainable fuels, and the circular economy, all while fostering collaborations with trailblazing businesses, industries, and educational partners. The investments will also enhance our entrepreneurial programs and startup support initiatives, ensuring that innovators and researchers receive the resources and guidance needed to bring their ideas to fruition. With this funding, TRaCE will strengthen our research infrastructure, facilitating advanced product testing, while also creating Higher Degree by Research opportunities, including PhDs and Masters programs aimed at nurturing the next generation of experts in climate-tech. Additionally, we will provide education and training pathways for industry professionals through micro-credentials and TAFE programs. The support from the Australian Government Department of Education through the Trailblazer Universities Program has been invaluable in driving our objectives forward. We invite those passionate about scaling the circular economy and accelerating the energy transition to partner with us as we pave the way for sustainable innovation.
