FLOCEAN is thrilled to announce that we have successfully raised $100 million in our latest funding round, enabling us to further our mission of addressing global water scarcity through innovative and sustainable technologies. Operating at the forefront of the freshwater revolution, FLOCEAN harnesses the clean and abundant water found at depths of 300 to 600 meters in the ocean, sidestepping the environmental challenges typical of traditional desalination methods. Our unique approach employs modular subsea reverse osmosis plants, capable of producing between 5,000 m³/day to 50,000 m³/day of freshwater while cutting energy consumption by up to 50%. With the recent capital injection, we aim to expand our Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model, enhancing our ability to provide reliable, scalable, and cost-effective freshwater solutions to communities and industries worldwide. Not only is our technology designed to be low-cost and eco-friendly—mitigating negative impacts on marine biodiversity—but it also boasts high availability, remaining resilient against storms and resilient to algal blooms. This latest funding will allow FLOCEAN to accelerate our R&D efforts, increase production capacity, and deploy more plants in water-scarce regions, ensuring more communities have access to clean, safe drinking water. We are incredibly grateful to our investors for their support and belief in our vision for sustainable water management, and we look forward to making a significant impact on the global water crisis together.
