Southeast Asia's freelancing economy just got a boost, as Fastwork.co announced it has raised $5.3M in a Series A funding round. The capital will further empower the platform, which connects businesses with professional freelancers across the region.
Fastwork, founded in 2015 by a group of engineers and entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley and New York, has become one of the largest platforms of its kind in Southeast Asia. It currently serves over 700,000 businesses, facilitating access to 90 services ranging from graphic design to web and app development, all while helping freelancers manage their work and payments.
