We are thrilled to announce that NASENI (National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure) has successfully raised $70,500,000 in our latest funding round. This significant capital infusion marks a pivotal moment in our journey toward fostering a knowledge-driven environment for the local mass production of essential parts, goods, and services that underpin Nigeria's technological advancement. With a solid mandate focusing on capital goods research, production, and reverse engineering, NASENI is strategically positioned to transform the landscape of engineering and manufacturing in Nigeria. The funding will be directed towards enhancing our capabilities across six critical areas: engineering materials—including metals, plastics, and nanotechnology; industrial chemicals; scientific equipment for education and research; engineering accessories; power equipment; and mechanical engineering tools. By expanding our research facilities and production capabilities, we aim to empower local industries, bolster the economy, and reduce dependency on foreign goods. This funding will also enable us to establish partnerships with educational institutions and other research bodies, promoting innovation and skilled workforce development. We believe that with this capital, NASENI will not only accelerate progress in technology and engineering but also invigorate the local market by creating job opportunities and advancing the Nigerian manufacturing sector. This is an exciting time for NASENI, as we work toward realizing our vision of a robust and self-sufficient technological ecosystem that supports the nation’s growth. Thank you for your continued support as we pave the way for a brighter, more innovative Nigeria.
