Oman Credit & Financial Information Centre (Mala'a) is thrilled to announce a significant funding milestone, having successfully raised $17.3 million to further its mission of empowering financial inclusion and enhancing access to credit throughout Oman. As a pioneering entity, Mala'a leverages sophisticated digital platforms to provide a wide array of services, including comprehensive credit bureau features, instant decisioning engines for mobile and micro-lending, and innovative fintech solutions such as electronic Know Your Customer (KYC) verifications. This funding will be instrumental in expanding our capabilities and refining our services, ensuring more Omanis can seamlessly navigate their financial journeys.
This capital injection will bolster our existing core business lines and drive the development of new consultancy and analytical services tailored to the unique needs of our clients. We believe that financial information is a bridge to economic growth and, by unlocking essential data, we are helping to foster a robust lending ecosystem that supports sustainable entrepreneurship and consumer confidence. Moreover, as the first paperless entity in Oman, we are committed to sustainability not just in our operational practices, but as a core value embedded in our business culture. We envision a future where every Omani has the opportunity to access credit that empowers their ambitions. This funding is a crucial step in making that vision a reality, and we are excited to collaborate with our partners as we move forward on this journey of growth and innovation.
