Children’s Cancer Institute NSW is thrilled to announce that we have raised $120,000 to help further our vital mission of ensuring that every child diagnosed with cancer has not only a fighting chance to survive but the opportunity to thrive long into the future. At Children’s Cancer Institute, we believe that a life should be long—a belief that fuels our dedication to research and compassionate care, working tirelessly to transform the grim statistics that too often rob children of their bright futures. Every child deserves the chance to grow up, chase their dreams, and fulfill their potential, yet cancer continues to cut too many lives short, and even those who survive may face severe long-term health challenges as a result of their treatments. This new funding injection will bolster our ongoing efforts to advance purpose-driven research, support innovative treatment protocols, and enable wider collaboration with some of the brightest minds and cutting-edge technology globally. In Australia alone, over 1,000 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer annually, and each week, the loss of three young lives serves as an urgent reminder of our work’s importance. By investing in breakthrough research and improved care strategies, we are one step closer to a future where every child not only survives but lives a long, happy, and healthy life—a future where cancer no longer steals the promise of tomorrow. We are immensely grateful to our supporters whose contributions make these life-changing advancements possible, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to curing childhood cancer.
