Empowering Futures: Carole Robertson Center for Learning Raises $20 Million in Funding for Child and Family Development Programs

We are thrilled to announce that the Carole Robertson Center for Learning has successfully raised $20 million in funding, marking a significant milestone in our mission to educate, enrich, and empower children and families across Chicago. As a nonprofit organization, the Carole Robertson Center is committed to providing comprehensive child and family development programs that span from early childhood education for ages 0-5 to out-of-school-time programs for ages 5-17. This new infusion of capital will enhance our offerings, expand our reach to serve nearly 2,000 children and families in 27 communities, and strengthen our existing programs at our flagship sites in Little Village, North Lawndale, and Albany Park, as well as at partner schools and community centers. Our approach places a strong emphasis on inclusivity; all programs are bilingual in English and Spanish and welcome children with special needs. This funding will allow us to introduce new family support initiatives, tailored resources for expectant parents, and innovative home-based programming to further foster environments where every child can thrive. Each step we take lies in honor of our namesake, Carole Robertson, a courageous symbol of resilience and hope in the ongoing journey for equality.
