We are excited to announce that the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) has successfully raised $10,000 in a recent funding initiative, marking a significant milestone for our mission and vision. Our steadfast commitment is rooted in the belief that every child is loved, respected, and entitled to have their rights upheld—a guiding principle that is at the very heart of our organization. This newly acquired funding will be strategically invested in expanding our innovative programs, strengthening partnerships with government and non-government agencies, and enhancing our comprehensive child protection system across Queensland. Through these initiatives, we are working relentlessly towards building safe, caring, and connected communities where the wellbeing and best interests of children and young people are always a priority. We understand that fostering an environment of care and support requires constant effort, collaboration, and advocacy, and this funding acts as a catalyst to propel our objectives forward, enabling us to reach more vulnerable members of our community and offer them the protection and support they so rightfully deserve. In our journey of promoting a culture of respect and care, we also take this opportunity to respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work, paying homage to Elders past, present, and emerging. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this successful funding round, and we look forward to using these resources to create safer, more resilient communities where every child’s dignity and potential can truly flourish.
