CLASS ACT DETROIT is proud to announce a pivotal funding milestone, having successfully raised $1,300,000 to further its mission of enhancing equity in the creative economy and expanding access to performing arts. With a compelling focus on culturally relevant programming, CLASS ACT DETROIT engages young minds during out-of-school hours (3:30 PM - 6:30 PM), fostering a vibrant community through music, dance, and media literacy initiatives. This funding will enable us to broaden our outreach, providing even more underserved youth in Detroit with transformative arts experiences that affirm their cultural identities and empower their voices. We believe that every child deserves an opportunity to explore their creative potential, and this funding will directly support the development of new programs and enhance existing ones. By investing in quality arts education, we pave the way for young artists from diverse backgrounds to cultivate their talents, build confidence, and express themselves in meaningful ways. CLASS ACT DETROIT aims to leverage this funding to explore innovative collaborations with local artists and educators, ensuring our offerings resonate with the community we serve. We invite supporters and advocates of arts education to join us in this exciting journey as we reimagine what is possible for our local youth, creating a thriving future grounded in creativity, culture, and connection. Thank you for believing in our vision; together, we are transforming the landscape of performing arts in Detroit.
