Empowering Change: Irish Community Care Manchester Raises £3,950 Grant to Enhance Support for Irish & Traveller Communities

Irish Community Care Manchester is thrilled to announce that we have raised £3,950 in our latest funding drive—a milestone that reinforces our steadfast commitment to serving the Irish and Irish Traveller communities across Manchester. As a registered charity, our organization exists to identify and respond to the varied needs of these communities, and this generous infusion of funds will help us continue and expand our important work. The funds raised will be directed toward our comprehensive range of services designed to support individuals and families facing everyday challenges. These include our Advice & Information services, which offer crucial guidance on welfare benefits, pensions, PIP applications and appeals, as well as housing support applications, providing individuals with the much-needed expertise to navigate complex systems. Additionally, part of these funds will be allocated to our Advocacy & Support programs, where volunteers and professionals provide weekly assistance to help community members overcome obstacles in their lives with tailored, long-term support. We are also excited to invest in our Community Engagement initiatives, such as organizing weekly lunch groups across several locations and nurturing our community allotment project—a space that fosters connection, empowerment, and healthy living. This funding ensures that we can extend our outreach and enhance our service offerings, addressing both immediate and long-term needs within the communities we serve.
