As one of the largest shire District Councils in the UK, East Lindsey encompasses the picturesque Lincolnshire coastline, including the vibrant seaside resorts of Skegness, Sutton on Sea, and Mablethorpe, alongside the idyllic landscapes of the Lincolnshire Wolds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). With a population of 137,887 residents, the Council recognizes its responsibility to foster growth and improve the quality of life for its constituents.
This substantial funding, part of the collaborative efforts with the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership, will be pivotal in advancing various projects that aim to stimulate local economies, particularly in agriculture and tourism—two of the District's main industries.
