DanceHub CIC is thrilled to announce that it has successfully secured a significant funding round to bolster its mission of enhancing community engagement through dance and movement. Founded in 2019 by the Marina Studios Foundation alongside executive directors Annelies White and Daran Bennett, DanceHub has been dedicated to promoting education, development, and well-being in local communities. With this new funding, the company will further extend its outreach programs and make dance more accessible to individuals of all backgrounds, particularly those who may face barriers to participation.
By engaging with a diverse range of partners in sectors such as Sport & Physical Activity, Arts & Culture, Health, Education, and Local Authorities, DanceHub acts as a vital nexus for community activity. The funds raised will enable the organization to launch innovative workshops, expand its offerings to underserved populations, and create inspiring events that celebrate movement in all its forms. Additionally, the funding will support the development of educational resources that help individuals gain a deeper understanding of the mental and physical health benefits derived from dance. At DanceHub, we believe that movement is not just an art form, but a powerful vehicle for community growth and connection. As we look to the future, this funding will allow us to ignite passion, build resilience, and foster inclusivity through the joy of dance. We are excited to embark on this next chapter and invite everyone to join us in making a vibrant and thriving dance community.
