Monitoring heart health from a smartphone just got a boost. D-Heart, the developer of a portable ECG device that allows users to perform hospital-level heart scans autonomously, has closed a $2.7M seed funding round.
The Italian startup's CE-marked device records 8 and 12-lead ECGs, sending results to a telecardiology service or a personal doctor. Leveraging image-processing and AI, D-Heart aims to empower individuals to track their heart health and is currently expanding its international footprint across Asia, Africa, Australia, and parts of Europe.
