We are thrilled to announce the recent funding success of Community Spotlight CIC, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering community connections in and around Portsmouth. Originally founded in 2020 as a Facebook group named Together We Can Portsmouth, this grassroots initiative was born out of a need to unite local community groups during the Covid pandemic. Fast forward to 2022 and Community Spotlight CIC has emerged from this supportive online space, now firmly committed to highlighting the incredible work of community groups, individuals, and organizations while facilitating collaboration and connection among them.
In our latest round of funding, we are proud to have raised an impressive amount, which will allow us to expand our services and reach even more residents of Portsmouth. The funds will be directed toward developing outreach programs, hosting community events, and creating additional online resources that empower local organizations to come together in meaningful ways. By supporting community-driven initiatives, we aim to build a resilient network that enhances the collective strength of individuals and groups within our region.
