Our flagship PhysioMimix® suite of microphysiological systems allows researchers to better predict human responses to new drug candidates, thereby streamlining the journey from lab to market. With this new influx of capital, we aim to enhance our capabilities in delivering 3D-validated cells, consumable plates, and offering cutting-edge Contract Research Services—all with the goal of making the drug development process more efficient, cost-effective, and humane by reducing reliance on animal testing.
The funding will enable us to expand our range of organ models, including our perfused single organ (Lung, Liver) and multi-organ (Intestine/Liver, Lung/Liver) systems, which mimic human microarchitecture and environmental conditions with breathtaking accuracy. This unique approach not only addresses the growing demand for humane alternatives to animal testing but also lays the groundwork for the evaluation of complex drug modalities targeting human-specific pathways.
