The Center for Internet Security, Inc. (CIS®) is excited to announce that it has successfully raised $10,000,000 in our latest funding round. As a community-driven nonprofit, CIS has been steadfast in its mission to make the connected world a safer place for people, businesses, and governments. With this significant financial boost, we are poised to further our core competencies of collaboration and innovation. This new infusion of capital will accelerate the continued evolution of our CIS Controls® and CIS Benchmarks™, which are globally recognized best practices for securing IT systems and data. Our team of IT professionals, dedicated to proactive threat prevention, will leverage these resources to enhance product development and expand services that protect against emerging cyber threats.
Additionally, the funding will enable us to invest in the expansion of our CIS Hardened Images®, ensuring that secure, on-demand, and scalable computing environments in the cloud continue to meet the rigorous cybersecurity demands of our users. Crucially, CIS will also enhance the capabilities of the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center® (MS-ISAC®) and the Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center® (EI-ISAC®), both of which serve as trusted resources for cyber threat prevention, protection, response, and recovery for U.S. State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial government entities, as well as U.S. elections offices. This funding milestone marks a key step in our journey to fortify digital infrastructures and safeguard critical data assets, reinforcing our commitment to a secure and resilient cyber ecosystem.
