The Center for Economic Inclusion is thrilled to announce a monumental funding boost of $2 million, aimed at accelerating our mission to foster an inclusive economy in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region. This funding will empower our organization to further our efforts in disrupting systemic inequalities and catalyzing shared prosperity among all residents. As a cross-sector collaborative, we work diligently to enhance civic infrastructure and collective capacity, driving initiatives that bridge economic gaps and fortify community resilience. With the support of this new funding, we will amplify our successful partnerships with integral groups such as the Northside Funders Group and the East Side Funders Group, who share our commitment to elevating racial equity and economic opportunity in their respective neighborhoods. Additionally, we will leverage resources to implement strategies that promote wealth-building for historically marginalized communities, including immigrants, refugees, and individuals with disabilities. Our collaborative ties with the Greater Metropolitan Workforce Council will also benefit, as we continue to innovate and transform the employment landscape through inclusive practices. This financial infusion not only reinforces our existing initiatives but also opens new avenues for piloting data-driven approaches that yield sustainable growth and equitable access to economic resources. Together with our partners, we strive to create a thriving, equitable marketplace where every member of our community can prosper, fostering an inclusive environment where no one is left behind. As we turn this vision into reality, we invite the community to join us in this pivotal journey towards shared economic success.
