Emergency responders tackling pipeline incidents now have a new tool to quickly access critical information, thanks to Buxus, which has just closed a Seed funding round totaling $16K. The startup provides on-demand data to individual pipeline operators and emergency personnel, designed to make the most of the crucial first 30 to 60 minutes of a release.
Buxus's system delivers vital details like operator identity, control center contacts, product hazards, and line specifications directly to responders in the field. Crucially, this information remains accessible even without cell coverage or a Wi-Fi signal, aiding rapid assessment and control of an incident.
