We are thrilled to announce that BUILD Boston has successfully raised $2,400 in its latest funding round, fueling our mission to empower youth in under-resourced communities through entrepreneurship-based, experiential learning. Founded in 1999, BUILD has been at the forefront of transforming the educational landscape by providing a unique four-year entrepreneurship program that reinforces the Common Core curriculum while fostering essential 21st Century skills. Our approach not only ignites the potential of our students but also equips them with the necessary tools for high school, college, and career success. By beginning their journey in the 9th grade, BUILD students collaborate with peers and community mentors to craft, pitch, and launch real business ideas, ensuring practical learning experiences that keep them engaged in their education. As we currently serve approximately 2,000 students across programs in the San Francisco Bay Area, Washington, DC, Boston, MA, and New York City, this recent funding will enhance our initiatives, enabling us to provide more comprehensive support in the college application process while expanding opportunities for internships and business development. Our team, comprised of diverse, passionate individuals, is committed to believing in the potential of every student and the transformative power of entrepreneurship. We invite you to join us as we continue to celebrate perseverance, flexibility, and cross-cultural understanding within our collaborative environment. With your support, BUILD can continue its journey of inspiring young entrepreneurs across the nation.
