As a global lunar exploration company, ispace is at the forefront of extending humankind’s reach into outer space through innovative technology and robust international partnerships. Our dedicated team is driving forward with the development of cutting-edge robotic lunar landers designed to deliver customer payloads efficiently to both lunar orbit and the Moon’s surface, laying the groundwork for future scientific discovery and commercial opportunities. Additionally, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art micro rovers that traverse the lunar terrain, collecting invaluable data and seeking out resources that could unlock new potentials for space exploration.
This new funding will play a pivotal role in accelerating the advancement of our current projects, particularly our first two missions under the HAKUTO-R program. With the second mission scheduled for launch on January 15, 2025, aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, the infusion of capital will ensure we continue to meet key milestones and expand our technical capabilities while meeting strict safety and operational standards. Alongside our technological innovations, ispace has strengthened its global footprint with operations spanning Japan, the United States, and Europe, and through strategic agreements with multiple government agencies to deploy essential scientific equipment to the Moon. Our history as the managing company for Team HAKUTO, a finalist in the Google Lunar XPRIZE Competition, further underscores our expertise and resolute vision to lead the lunar exploration industry into a new era.
