Blackrock Further Education Institute, formerly known as Senior College Dun Laoghaire, is excited to announce a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to educational excellence—a recently closed funding round that has provided an undisclosed but impactful investment for the college’s future growth. With over 850 full-time students and a reputation as one of Ireland’s largest and most innovative Further Education Colleges, BFEI has long been at the forefront of transforming professional education. The funds raised will be dedicated to enhancing and expanding our state-of-the-art campus in Blackrock village—an initiative born from the dynamic rebranding in 2014—and to modernizing our facilities as well as broadening our curriculum offerings across key departments. This strategic infusion will enable us to incorporate the latest technological advancements and further develop our industry-aligned courses in Business, Community, Emergency and Health Care, Design, Beauty Therapy, Make Up & Complementary Therapy, and Computing and Creative Technologies. Our graduates have benefited from nationally and internationally accredited qualifications, supported by prestigious bodies such as Quality and Qualifications Ireland, Cisco Networking Academy, CompTIA Certification, and more, ensuring they are well-prepared for the competitive global marketplace. This investment not only underscores our commitment to academic excellence and professional development but also reinforces our mission to provide transformative learning experiences that empower students to excel in their chosen careers. We are grateful to our partners and supporters for their trust and collaboration as we continue to shape a brighter future in professional education at Blackrock Further Education Institute.
