The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is excited to share an update on our ongoing mission to advance the education of exceptionally promising students facing financial challenges. In a unique funding announcement that underscores our commitment to strategic investments in educational equity, we are proud to highlight that while this round did not result in the influx of new monetary contributions—none was raised as a specific infusion—the impact of our work continues to grow exponentially through our legacy of support. Since our inception in 2000, we have awarded an impressive $304 million in scholarships to more than 3,400 students spanning from the 8th grade to graduate school, all while providing comprehensive educational advising and tailored support services that empower these students to overcome financial barriers. Complementing this effort, we have also dedicated $136 million in grants to partner organizations that share our vision of transforming lives through education.
This announcement reaffirms our unwavering dedication to making quality education accessible to those with extraordinary potential, regardless of their economic background. The strategic decision to reinvest and leverage our cumulative resources—totaling over $440 million in scholarships and grants—is designed to ensure that every student we serve receives the critical support they need to succeed academically and professionally. As we continue to celebrate successes from past funding rounds, our focus remains on identifying innovative avenues to maximize the reach and impact of our programs. We are grateful to our partners, educators, and supporters who play a vital role in fueling this transformative journey, and we remain excited about the future opportunities to further advance educational equity nationwide.
