Aquaback Technologies, a company focused on advanced water purification, has secured $110.0M in Series B funding. The capital infusion will fuel the expansion of its patented distillation technology, which promises to revolutionize how polluted water is cleaned globally.
Aquaback's breakthrough design allows for over 90% of contaminated water to be inexpensively purified to the standard of rainwater, anywhere and at any scale. This addresses critical issues of declining water quality and scarcity by making high-quality water recycling widely accessible, overcoming the traditional energy intensity of distillation.
