Beyond its U.S. banking operations, Anchorage Digital extends its institutional services globally through Anchorage Digital Singapore, licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and Anchorage Digital New York, which holds a BitLicense from the New York Department of Financial Services. The company also offers a self-custody wallet, Porto by Anchorage Digital. Founded in 2017 in San Francisco, California, Anchorage Digital has established a significant presence in the digital asset space.
This latest funding round underscores continued investor confidence in Anchorage Digital's mission and its robust infrastructure for institutional digital asset participation. The company, which has previously secured investment from leading institutions including Andreessen Horowitz, GIC, Goldman Sachs, KKR, and Visa, achieved a Series D valuation over $3 billion.
