We are thrilled to announce that Altilium has successfully raised 30,000,000—a significant milestone for our promising student venture! Altilium, founded at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) on the Porsgrunn campus, represents a dynamic blend of academic excellence and industry insight. Composed of four final-year engineering students, including three specializing in electrical engineering and one in construction, our team brings a diverse range of experiences from the workforce, ensuring a well-rounded approach to innovation. Leading this ambitious project is Jonas Myhren, our dedicated Managing Director. He is supported by Kjell Ole Sønsteby, our visionary Product Manager; Øyvind Kristiansen, who adeptly handles both Human Resources and Marketing; and Torgrim Ingvoldstad, our meticulous Finance Manager.
This latest funding injection will be strategically directed toward transforming the aggregate market—a vital step in the automotive sector’s broader shift toward sustainable alternatives. As society increasingly acknowledges that fossil fuels are no longer viable, the automotive industry is rapidly transitioning to battery-powered solutions, creating an imperative for innovative energy systems throughout various industries. The funds will empower Altilium to pioneer groundbreaking solutions that support this vital transformation, fostering a future where clean and efficient energy systems become the standard. Our mission is to be among the first to penetrate and transform the aggregate market with sustainable technologies, setting a benchmark for others in the industry. We are excited about the future as we harness this funding to drive research, enhance product development, and expand our market reach, all while championing the cause for a more sustainable and environmentally responsible tomorrow.
