All Hands and Hearts Secures $110K Grant to Fuel Resilient, Smart Disaster Response and Rebuilding Efforts

All Hands and Hearts is proud to announce that we have raised $110,000 in new funding to further our mission of addressing both the immediate and long-term needs of communities impacted by disasters. This significant investment is a testament to the unwavering support of our community and the trust placed in our unique, volunteer-driven approach. Founded in 2005 by co-founders Petra Nemcova and David Campbell—both forever changed by the catastrophic 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami—our organization has since evolved from its roots as separate initiatives into what is now known as All Hands and Hearts - Smart Response. With this new funding, we will enhance our capacity to work directly with local leaders and community members to build safer, more resilient schools, homes, and infrastructure. By deploying our “smart response” strategy, we are committed to ensuring that families not only recover quickly from disasters but are also better prepared for future challenges. The funds will be strategically allocated to support communities in rebuilding their vital structures, training local stakeholders in disaster resilience, and expanding our volunteer network. As we continue our work both domestically and internationally, this fresh infusion of capital will empower us to implement innovative solutions and broaden our reach, ensuring that vulnerable communities receive the rapid, effective help they need when disaster strikes.
