A new approach to postpartum care just got a financial boost, as Ahma & Co announced it has raised $1.1M in seed funding. The startup is tackling the critical, yet often underserved, period of recovery and transition for mothers after childbirth, aiming to provide high-quality care, community support, and research-backed education.
Founded by women of Asian descent, Ahma & Co brings the holistic principles of Korean postnatal care to the American market. The company currently provides postnatal retreats and expert-informed babymoons in Southern California, alongside birth doula support and in-home care services across Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, and San Diego.
