Academy Achievers, a pioneering not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing STEM and Web 3 opportunities among vulnerable and disadvantaged youth, is excited to announce that it has successfully raised $10,000 in its recent funding round. This achievement marks a significant milestone as the organisation continues to empower children and young people aged 5-19 from hard to reach communities. The funds will be invested in enhancing and expanding a variety of dynamic programmes that fuel curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
The newly secured capital will bolster initiatives like the Early Years STEAM Music sessions, which engage toddlers aged 2-4 in fun, interactive musical experiences combined with mini STEAM projects that encourage creative exploration. Meanwhile, the Junior Coding Club for children aged 5-7 is set to receive additional resources to enrich its curriculum where young learners are introduced to coding on platforms such as Scratch through both one-to-one and group sessions held online. Furthermore, the Virtual STEAM Camp for ages 8-10, with its blend of live and pre-recorded activities, will benefit from the funds, ensuring that science, technology, engineering, art, and maths activities continue to captivate young minds during holiday terms.
In addition, the #BeMeDigitalInclusion programme for 14-25 year olds will gain stronger support, equipping young women with the mentorship and career guidance needed for success in tech and digital realms. This fundraising success is a testament to Academy Achievers’ commitment to closing the digital skills gap and nurturing the next generation of innovators.
