Through these diverse channels, 826 National reaches over 700,000 students aged 6 to 18 annually. Its programs are designed to empower young people by using writing as a tool to ignite creativity, explore identity, advocate for themselves and their communities, and achieve academic and professional success.
Each chapter within the 826 Network features an imaginative storefront that reimagines traditional tutoring and provides a gateway for meeting families, teachers, and volunteers, connecting students with community members. These locations also serve as venues for selling student publications. The 826 model has also inspired over 50 organizations worldwide, collectively serving an additional 150,000 students, further extending its global reach and impact.
