3DP4ME Secures $180K Funding to Revolutionize Access to Assistive Technology in Underserved Communities

3DP4ME, a pioneering nonprofit tech startup dedicated to empowering patients through innovative 3D printed prostheses and hearing aids, is thrilled to announce the successful raise of $180,000 in funding. Based in the US and operating in the Middle East, 3DP4ME's mission revolves around breaking barriers to accessibility, particularly for underserved communities. Our immediate focus is on "The Hearing Express," an inspiring project aimed at enhancing access to vital hearing aids for individuals in Jordan, a region where, according to the World Health Organization, fewer than 3% of those in need actually receive these crucial devices. Since launching in April 2023, we have already supplied 52 children with custom-fit hearing aids, transforming their ability to communicate and connect with the world around them. This new funding, supported by notable partners such as Intel, Accenture, BASF, and the Australian Embassy in Jordan, will enable us to further expand our services and develop a state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing facility for assistive devices. This facility will allow us to innovate, using cutting-edge 3D scanning, design, and printing technology to offer scalable solutions for a range of needs.
