Agile Robots SE has acquired XNG Automation Solutions Pvt. Ltd for an undisclosed amount. The deal brings the Indian engineering firm, established in 2009, under the full ownership of the German robotics company, marking a consolidation of capabilities in industrial automation rather than a new funding round.
XNG Automation Solutions specializes in turnkey factory automation and intralogistics systems. Its work covers assembly automation, robotics, machine vision, and special machines for sectors including automotive, electric vehicles, e-commerce, and parcel logistics. The company also develops autonomous mobile robots and applies Industry 4.0, IIoT, and AI-based solutions for its clients. Agile Robots SE, known for its advanced robotic systems and AI-driven automation technology, will integrate XNG’s engineering teams and project portfolio into its existing operations.
The acquisition is strategic for Agile Robots as it expands its footprint in the Indian market, a region with growing demand for automated manufacturing and warehouse solutions. XNG’s established customer base across automotive and intralogistics verticals provides Agile Robots with direct access to key industrial sectors. The combination of XNG’s local engineering expertise and Agile Robots’ core technology platform is intended to strengthen the delivery of complex automation projects, particularly in machine vision and autonomous robotics.
For XNG, joining Agile Robots offers access to a broader global network and deeper research resources, which could accelerate the development of its product lines. The transaction is expected to close following standard regulatory approvals, after which XNG will operate as a subsidiary of Agile Robots SE. The combined entity will focus on expanding its service offerings across existing and new industrial verticals, with an emphasis on scalable automation solutions for the Asian market.
