Farrel Pomini®, a global leader in compounding systems for the polymer processing industry, has acquired WF Recycle-Tech, a UK pyrolysis technology provider, for an undisclosed amount. This corporate acquisition sees Farrel Pomini take full ownership of WF Recycle-Tech, which specializes in producing ethical, environmentally friendly, and economically viable systems for the recycling of End of Life Tyres (ELTs) worldwide.
WF Recycle-Tech's patented thermo-dynamic process utilizes kinetic energy and heat to break down shredded rubber crumb from ELTs, yielding three commercially valuable end products: Tyre Pyrolysis Oil, Syngas, and recovered Carbon Black (rCB). The company's systems are built on tried and tested engineering technology, configured innovatively to create a unique two-stage continuous process. This acquisition formalizes and deepens an existing strategic relationship, as Farrel Pomini, along with its sister company HF Mixing Group, had previously backed WF Recycle-Tech. HF Mixing Group is one of the world’s largest suppliers of equipment to the tyre industry.
